A BLUSH & GOLD WEDDING AT CHÂTEAU LE PARC

Harneet & Gary — A Dreamy Blush-and-Gold Celebration for 340 Guests

Inside Harneet & Gary's blush-and-gold wedding at Château Le Parc — a 340-guest celebration of crystal, gold and cherry blossom. See the design, and learn how to create a blush-and-gold wedding of your own.

Blush and gold is one of the most requested — and most misunderstood — wedding palettes. Done timidly, it can feel washed out. Done with intention, texture and scale, it becomes pure romance: soft, luminous and unforgettable. Harneet & Gary's wedding at Château Le Parc is exactly the second kind.

Ethereal Creators is a Toronto luxury wedding floral and decor studio, and we designed and built this celebration in-house for 340 guests, alongside planner Posh Events by Neha. Below is a look inside the design — the ceiling, the stage, the tables and the cake — followed by our designer's guide to creating a blush-and-gold wedding of your own.

Quick Answer: What Makes a Blush & Gold Wedding Work?

A blush-and-gold wedding works when soft pink is paired with warm gold and plenty of texture — crystal, velvet, mirror and abundant florals — at varied heights, so the room reads rich and dimensional rather than flat. In Harneet & Gary's 340-guest wedding at Château Le Parc, Ethereal Creators layered a crystal-and-gold ceiling canopy, a cherry-blossom cloud, a sculptural white stage and blush rose tablescapes to bring the palette to life. A custom stage like this runs $12,000–$20,000, with a fully designed luxury wedding starting around $100,000+.

The Grand Entrance: A Crystal & Gold Ceiling

The first thing guests saw set the tone for the entire night. We suspended a breathtaking ceiling canopy of crystal and gold beaded strands, woven through chandeliers, and anchored it with a floating cloud of pink-and-ivory cherry blossom. As Harneet & Gary walked in, they moved beneath a literal sky of crystal and blooms — the kind of 'walk in and gasp' moment that defines a luxury wedding.

A ceiling treatment is the single most memorable thing you can do in a large room — it wraps every guest in the design. If you have one big investment to make, make it overhead.

The Stage: Modern Architecture, Softened

The reception stage balanced modern and romantic: a sculptural white wave backdrop with soft arched cut-outs, cascading pink and ivory cherry blossoms, and a curved champagne velvet sofa raised on a mirrored gold platform. The clean lines kept the look current and elegant, while the florals and blush lighting made it feel warm and dreamy.

The Tables: Blush & Gold, Layered With Texture

Across 340 guests, we designed the tables in two heights to create rhythm across the room. Low, lush domes of white and blush roses, lisianthus and hydrangea sat in white footed urns on mirror boxes; taller arrangements rose on gold geometric stands crowned with cherry blossom. Between them, crystal taper candelabra and ribbed floating-candle hurricanes on crystal bases added vertical glow.

The finishing details carried the palette all the way down: blush satin napkins, gold-rimmed chargers, custom photo menus and elegant arched gold table numbers. At a wedding this refined, the tables are where guests spend the whole night — so every detail was designed to be seen up close.

The Cake: A Blush Statement

Anchoring the room was a towering multi-tier blush cake with cascading sugar florals and a ruffled detail, framed by clouds of blush and ivory roses against the sculptural backdrop — a dessert moment designed to be as photographed as the couple themselves.

How to Create a Blush & Gold Wedding

Love this look? Here's how we'd guide you to recreate a blush-and-gold wedding of your own:

•     Layer texture, not just colour. Blush can read flat on its own. Crystal, gold, mirror, velvet and abundant florals give the palette depth and luxury.

•     Warm it with gold. Gold candelabra, chargers, table numbers and beaded accents keep blush from feeling cold and tie the whole room together.

•     Vary your heights. Mix low, lush centrepieces with tall elevated arrangements so the tables create a dynamic landscape, not a flat sea of florals.

•     Go big overhead. A ceiling treatment — crystal, florals, or both — transforms a large room more than anything at eye level.

•     Light it soft. Blush uplighting and abundant candlelight are what make a blush-and-gold room glow. Never leave flat overhead venue light on.

Designer tip:  The most common blush-and-gold mistake is playing it too safe. Commit to the palette fully and layer it richly — that's the difference between 'pretty' and 'breathtaking.'

Frequently Asked Questions

What colours go with blush and gold for a wedding?

Blush and gold pair beautifully with ivory, white and champagne, with crystal, mirror and velvet textures. Adding warm gold accents (candelabra, chargers, table numbers) keeps the palette from feeling washed out and gives it a luxurious, dimensional feel.

How do you make a blush wedding look luxurious?

Layer texture at varied heights — crystal, gold, mirror, velvet and abundant florals — add a statement moment overhead like a ceiling treatment, and light the room with soft blush uplighting and candlelight. Harneet & Gary's wedding at Château Le Parc is a full example.

How much does a blush and gold wedding like this cost?

A custom stage or backdrop runs $12,000–$20,000, floral centrepieces are $250–$500 each, and a fully designed, all-inclusive luxury wedding — ceiling treatments, stage, centrepieces and more — starts around $100,000+, separate from venue and catering.

Is Château Le Parc good for a large wedding?

Yes — Château Le Parc in Vaughan is a grand, palace-style venue well suited to large celebrations like this 340-guest wedding, with the scale and ceiling height for dramatic installations. See our designer's guide to weddings at Château Le Parc.

Do you design and build custom wedding stages and ceilings?

Yes — Ethereal Creators designs and builds custom stages, backdrops and ceiling treatments in-house for weddings across the GTA, tailored to each couple's palette and venue.
