The Sangeet is where the wedding week truly begins to feel electric. It’s a night to celebrate music, dance, color, and culture—and the decor should reflect that same energy. At Ethereal Creators, we design bold and modern Sangeet setups that go beyond expected traditions and become a true spectacle.

Here are three completely different Sangeet concepts we brought to life—each telling a different story, while still keeping it festive, chic, and unapologetically fun.

Whimsical lounge setup at Ascott Parc featuring a lavender-draped ceiling, velvet furniture with orange pillows, holographic floral sculptures, and pastel-toned floral arrangements.

1. Iridescent Mehndi at Ascott Park

This setup felt like stepping into an ethereal dream. Hosted under a tent at Ascott Park, we draped the space in layers of soft lavender fabric that shimmered under shifting lights.

Key features:

  • Oversized holographic starburst floral installations

  • Velvet lounges in jewel tones (think sage green + rust orange)

  • Clear ghost chairs and metallic side tables for a modern twist

  • Disco balls subtly placed to catch ambient light

The goal? To create a soft, romantic space that still had serious visual impact. Perfect for couples who want their Mehndi night to feel dreamy, futuristic, and unforgettable.

2. Tropical Glam at Globe and Mail Centre

A bold fusion of tropical elements and high-glam finishes, this Sangeet took over the Globe and Mail Centre with views of downtown Toronto. We created an environment that was lush, moody, and full of attitude.

  • A fuchsia velvet circular couch as the central anchor

  • Palm leaves spray-painted in gold, purple, and teal for an exotic edge

  • Custom green velvet fringe lamps giving a retro-luxe vibe

  • Ghost chairs paired with art-deco pattern chairs and gold tables

  • Gold vases and tropical floral moments throughout

The design was vibrant and dramatic—just like the energy of the Sangeet performances that followed.

3. Four-Colour Zone Sangeet at Globe and Mail

This modern and immersive lounge setup brought a burst of color and style to the Globe and Mail Centre. Nicknamed the "Four-Colour Zone," this concept divided the space into design zones inspired by deep jewel tones and bold florals.

  • Luxe green and red velvet seating with gold accents

  • Modern art-style floor plan and geometric bar fronts

  • A suspended ceiling of colored mesh fabric in pink, blue, green, and violet

  • Structured floral sections featuring blue roses, orchids, and bougainvillea

This setup was all about immersive design with designated spaces for lounging, dancing, and capturing Instagram-worthy moments.

Tips for Designing a Bold, Modern Sangeet:

  • Play with Color: Don’t shy away from bold palettes. Contrasts and jewel tones photograph beautifully.

  • Mix Textures: Combine velvets, metallics, acrylics, and florals for visual depth.

  • Layer Lighting: Combine warm candlelight with focused dance floor lighting or glowing installations.

  • Create Zones: Lounge areas, photo backdrops, and interactive bars make the event feel more immersive.

  • Add Personality: Whether it's retro fringe lamps or futuristic florals—make it about you.

Your Sangeet doesn’t have to look like every other pre-wedding night. With the right vision and the right design team like Ethereal Creators, it becomes a space where tradition meets trend, and every detail feels intentional.
