Designing Within New Fort Hall at Hotel X Toronto
New Fort Hall is known for its expansive layout, modern structure, and versatility as a luxury event space. Rather than overwhelming the room, the design approach focused on activating the space through intentional zoning, layered elements, and warmth.
The goal was to soften the contemporary architecture while maintaining a clean, modern aesthetic—allowing the room to feel immersive without losing its refined edge.
A Garden-Inspired Vision with Modern Refinement
Set within the Glass Pavilion, the design leaned into a garden-inspired aesthetic; lush, textural, and full of life. While maintaining a polished, contemporary edge. Greenery flowed throughout the space, grounding the room and creating a sense of cohesion.
Gold candelabras added height and warmth, reflecting light beautifully beneath the glass ceiling, while expressive florals introduced softness and movement against the Pavilion’s modern geometry.
