At Ethereal Creators, we’ve had the privilege of transforming many of these iconic spaces through floral art, lighting, and custom installations. Each venue holds a story, a challenge, and an opportunity for creative innovation.
Here’s our designer-approved list of Toronto’s top 10 luxury wedding venues for 2025, complete with firsthand experience and insider tips to help couples choose the perfect setting for their celebration.
The Arlington Estate
Location: Vaughan, Ontario (just 25 minutes from downtown Toronto)
Guest Capacity: Up to 450 guests (indoor), 800+ (outdoor events)
Price Range: Venue rental from approx. $20,000+ (includes full-service staff & menu packages)
Layout / Floor Plan: One main ballroom, private suites, and an outdoor ceremony area with full room transformation capabilities.
Designer Insight:
We designed a mother-of-pearl ceiling treatment here — a perfect example of how Arlington allows full customization. From florals to architecture, the room can be completely reimagined.
The Royal Ambassador Event Centre
Location: 15430 Innis Lake Rd, Caledon, Ontario (just 40 minutes from downtown Toronto).
Guest Capacity: Up to 500 guests indoors; multiple ballrooms and scenic outdoor ceremony spaces
Price Range: Approx. $12,000–$25,000+ depending on hall and season (includes venue rental and catering options)

Designer Insight:
We’ve had the pleasure of designing here before and after the renovation — and the transformation is stunning. The newly renovated ballroom and lobby feature elevated finishes, high ceilings, and soft, modern tones that make any design palette feel luxurious.
The space is versatile — perfect for large-scale floral installations, statement ceiling décor, or intimate candlelit setups overlooking the lake.

Hotel X Toronto
Location: Exhibition Place, Downtown Toronto
Guest Capacity: Up to 450 guests in the New Fort Hall, smaller rooms for intimate events

Designer Insight:
We’ve designed both corporate and wedding events here — including a corporate gala for ADM Engineering. Hotel X offers limitless creativity in floor plans while saving on upgrades like flooring vinyl due to its glass aesthetic.
Fairmont Royal York
Location: 100 Front St W, Toronto
Guest Capacity: Up to 800 guests in the Ballroom
Price Range: Venue rental typically $15,000–$30,000+ depending on package and exclusivity
Layout / Floor Plan: Multiple ballrooms, pre-function areas, suites, and mezzanines.

Casa Loma
Location: 1 Austin Terrace, Toronto
Guest Capacity: 150–250 guests (indoor/outdoor)
Price Range: $15,000–$25,000+ (venue + catering packages)
Layout / Floor Plan: Garden ceremony area, multiple halls, and terrace
Time Constraints:
Casa Loma is an active tourist attraction during the day, so vendors are only granted access after the museum closes — usually around 4 p.m. for evening events.
Setup Window: approximately 2 – 3 hours (maximum) before guest arrival.
Teardown Deadline: typically by midnight or 1 a.m., with all decor removed that night.
Because of these limits, teams must coordinate precisely with planners, production, and floral vendors.
Designer Insight:
We designed Sapphire and Nadeen’s wedding here — their nikkah and reception were both held on-site. Despite the tight schedule, our team executed a full floral transformation by pre-assembling major pieces off-site.
The Globe and Mail Centre
Location: 351 King St E, Toronto
Guest Capacity: Up to 400 seated, 800 standing

We built a custom grand entrance for a wedding here with a two-day setup. Omni King Edward’s early access made it possible to bring large-scale design ideas to life.
