A Modern Romantic Ivory Wedding at Arlington Estate | Ethereal Creators

Some love stories don’t need color to be vibrant.

For Mauj and Samy, elegance was found in simplicity — an atmosphere bathed in candlelight, layered ivory draping, and delicate gold accents that shimmered softly across The Arlington Estate’s West Wing.

This modern romantic ivory wedding captured everything Ethereal Creators stands for: artistry, architecture, and emotion woven seamlessly into one immersive experience.

Designing an Atmosphere, Not a Theme

From the very first consultation, Mauj and Samy envisioned a celebration that felt timeless yet inviting — a design that whispered refinement rather than shouted extravagance. With a guest list of nearly 380 and a love for clean, classic design, the couple entrusted Ethereal Creators to completely transform the West Wing into a glowing haven of romance.

“We designed this space as architecture through emotion — every layer of draping, every flicker of candlelight was placed with intention. The beauty of this wedding lay in its restraint — a soft, tonal palette that spoke through texture, light, and balance.”

The Backdrop That Stole the Night

The focal point of the reception was an ivory-draped stage framed by cascading candlelight. Rows of floating candles, crystal cylinders, and reflective gold accents built layers of glow that surrounded the couple in warmth.

This signature Ethereal Creators backdrop was meticulously planned to photograph beautifully from every angle — a hallmark of the studio’s approach, where technical precision meets effortless romance. The effect was cinematic: an altar of light that anchored the entire room and became the emotional heart of the evening.

Floral Artistry in Neutral Tones

Florals were intentionally understated yet lush. A symphony of white roses, lisianthus, ranunculus, and hydrangea cascaded across tablescapes and accent pieces, creating texture and dimension without overwhelming the room.

Each bloom was chosen for its tone and movement — ivory petals that caught candlelight and reflected subtle warmth against the soft gold detailing. Together, the florals and light built an atmosphere that felt ethereal in the truest sense.

An Intimate Experience for 380 Guests

Designing for a large guest count in the West Wing required strategic spatial storytelling. Ethereal Creators curated an immersive flow — from the glowing lobby entry to the grand reception reveal.
Elegant gold-rimmed dinnerware and tall crystal candelabras lined long tables, drawing guests’ eyes toward the stage while maintaining intimacy at every seat.

The goal was not to fill space, but to make every guest feel part of the moment.

Full-Production Design, Seamless Collaboration

As a full-production project, Ethereal Creators managed every creative and logistical element, from the initial concept board to the final setup on event day.

  • Paragon Design produced the sleek white vinyls and personalized prints that tied the palette together.

  • Daeja Dream Weddings handled the extensive draping that defined the architecture of the room.

The collaboration resulted in a flawlessly cohesive look — one that married structure and softness, precision and poetry.

A Reflection of the Ethereal Creators Signature

This celebration at Arlington Estate stands as a testament to Ethereal Creators’ ability to craft emotion through design. Each project — whether a gala, brand launch, or wedding — begins with a story and ends with an experience guests never forget.

For Mauj and Samy, that story was one of modern romance told through light, texture, and balance.
