The Art of the Modern Wedding: 5 Reasons Ethereal Creators Are Toronto’s Luxury Design Powerhouse
Redefining the Modern Wedding
In 2025, the art of wedding design has evolved. Couples are no longer looking for cookie-cutter setups or Pinterest replicas — they want experiences that feel deeply personal, emotionally rich, and visually timeless.
At Ethereal Creators, we believe a wedding should be more than beautiful — it should be felt.
Founded by Abdul and Hafsa Qureshi, our Toronto-based studio has become synonymous with floral artistry, architectural storytelling, and full-scale event transformation. From Casa Loma to Arlington Estate, we design events that reflect who our clients are — not just what’s trending.
Bespoke Design, from Concept to Completion
Every Ethereal event begins with a vision — and a blank canvas.
We handle the entire process in-house, from conceptual design boards and scaled layouts to setup and execution. Every detail is intentional — the placement of a candle, the curve of a structure, the way lighting interacts with fabric.
“We don’t believe in templates — we believe in transformation.”
For Sapphire and Nadeem’s wedding at Casa Loma, that meant turning Toronto’s most historic castle into a romantic forest dreamscape for their Nikkah ceremony. Layers of soft florals, crystal accents, and gentle candlelight framed the moment perfectly, creating a royal yet intimate atmosphere.
Each project is crafted with a sense of purpose — to make a space tell a story.
2. In-House Floral Artistry That Defines Atmosphere
Florals are the language of emotion — and for us, they’re also architectural.
Our in-house floral team ensures that every bloom, vine, and petal contributes to the atmosphere of the space, not just the arrangement. The result? Designs that breathe and move naturally within their environment.
At Jasmine and Anuj’s wedding at the Aga Khan Museum, our team embraced modern minimalism. Crisp black-and-white decor met structured white blooms, reflecting the museum’s clean geometry while adding warmth and romance.
~ Each arrangement became part of the architecture — not an accessory to it.
3. Architectural Storytelling Through Design
Every Ethereal event begins with a story — and that story is built into the very structure of the design.
We use architecture as a storytelling tool, layering elements like arches, suspended florals, and sculptural backdrops to guide guests through an emotional experience.
A perfect example: our Four-Colour Sangeet at the Globe and Mail Centre, where we created four distinct color zones — each representing a unique mood and cultural essence. Bold berry, emerald, sapphire, and gold sections turned the venue into a modern celebration of artistry and joy.
The design wasn’t just beautiful — it was immersive. Guests didn’t just attend the event; they experienced it.
4. Signature Transformations at Toronto’s Iconic Venues
Our team is known for reimagining Toronto’s most prestigious venues — Casa Loma, Fairmont Royal York, Globe & Mail Centre, and The Arlington Estate — into settings that are unrecognizable in the best way.
At Mauj & Samy’s ivory wedding in The Arlington Estate’s West Wing, we designed an all-ivory dreamscape. Layered candlelight glowed against soft drapery, while a custom sweetheart table framed with gold detailing became the centerpiece of the room.
Every inch of the space reflected balance — simplicity elevated into sophistication.
This approach — intentional, emotional, and precise — is what defines Ethereal Creators’ identity as a luxury design powerhouse.
5. Collaboration and Precision at the Heart of Every Design
At Ethereal Creators, no detail is left to chance.
We conduct multiple design reviews, on-site walkthroughs, and vendor collaborations to ensure every installation aligns with the client’s vision and the venue’s architecture.
This process-driven approach allows us to bring together Toronto’s best creatives — from planners like Roxy (Art of Celebrations) and Diana Pires, to production partners like Paragon Design and Daeja Dream Weddings — under one cohesive vision.
“We translate emotion into structure — that’s what makes a design unforgettable.”
