From Family Celebrations to an Award-Winning Studio
Ethereal Creators started the way many of the most passionate studios do — not in a boardroom, but at home. Siblings Abdul and Hafsa began by designing and building celebrations for their own family, hands-on, learning the craft one event at a time. What set them apart early was an instinct for originality and a refusal to simply copy what everyone else was doing.
Their first grand event became a turning point. It proved what they could do at scale — and set the tone for everything that followed. Abdul left an unfulfilling corporate path to pursue design full-time; Hafsa brought the artistic vision. Together they turned a passion into a profession, and a family hobby into a studio trusted with some of the largest and most beautiful weddings and galas in the Greater Toronto Area.
Designer note: The best design studios are built by people who care more about the result than the shortcut. That founding instinct — original, hands-on, never off-the-shelf — is still how we approach every event today.
Our Design Philosophy
Ethereal Creators is built on a few beliefs that shape every wedding and event we touch:
• Originality over imitation. We design from a blank page. Your celebration should look like you — not like a trend we repeated from last season.
• Inspiration from the world around us. We draw from global design, architecture and nature — which is how our work stays fresh, structural and unexpected.
• Continuous improvement. We push ourselves to be better with every event, refining our craft rather than resting on a signature formula.
• Everything in-house. Design, custom florals, fabrication and décor come from one team — so the entire environment reads as a single, intentional vision.

As a full-service studio, we handle the whole creative environment so nothing is outsourced or disconnected:

• Custom florals — bridal bouquets, ceremony and reception florals, roughly 95% of it fresh.
