A Luxury Wedding at One King West
One King West is a timeless landmark in the heart of Toronto, known for its opulent Grand Banking Hall and gold-accented architecture. For Samin & Karim’s winter Nikkah, we reimagined the space with luxurious draping, candlelit aisles, and a bold floral story—bringing their vision to life through intentional, high-impact design.
Site Visit & Vision
Before pen hit paper, we started with a site visit. The Grand Banking Hall's grandeur, high ceilings, and built-in architectural features informed how we would layer our design without overwhelming the space.
The Mood Board & Palette
The couple envisioned a winter ceremony that felt intimate, grand, and cinematic. We anchored the design around soft ivory draping, moody berry-toned florals, navy velvet linens, and metallic accents. A major design element was a fully custom black-and-white vinyl aisle flanked by elevated floral gardens.
Design Development & Floorplan
We designed a centered aisle flanked by draped columns to guide the eye toward the focal point. Lounge seating was layered at the base of the aisle for an intimate pre-ceremony moment, and kings tables framed the outer edges to provide structure and softness simultaneously.
Execution Day: From Setup to Wow
Installation took place the day prior, allowing our team to layer the large-scale draping without time pressure. Our signature draped tunnel created an immersive entrance, while soft seating, florals, and chandeliers guided guests down the aisle.
